Developing social functionality of patients with schizophrenia by using psychodrama

Summary
This study is an open group psychotherapy application which was set to complete the psyhcodrama training dissertation. 14 patients with schizophrenia was involved in the therapy group which was consisted of 14 sessions. From the group process, it was expected to maintain an increase in social functionality and a decrease in depressive symptoms of the subjects. The Social Functioning Scale (SFS) and Calgary Depression Scale For Schizophrenia (CDSS) pretest-posttest was applied and results were evaluated. In the chapter of “Findings and Discussion”, experiences of the patients in group process was assessed and interpreted.
