Abstract

Positive psychology in the workplace constitutes a growing field of interest and investigation, which aims not only to increase organizational success but also to enhance employee experience. This chapter introduces positive psychodrama as a creative experiential intervention intended to promote flourishing at the workplace. First, the multiple associations between psychodrama and positive psychology at work are presented in five themes: spontaneity, creativity, and adaptation; positive relationships; co-creation and mutual responsibility; roles repertoire and character strengths; and act hunger, flow, and engagement. Next, practical applications of positive psychodrama in the workplace are suggested through an overview of varied activities that can form an intervention program at the workplace. Then, future directions for research on positive psychodrama and final conclusions are discussed.
