Action Hub, a collaboration with FEPTO Training Committee
The Action Hub will serve as a meeting point for psychodrama practitioners and trainers to share their expertise, experiences, and case examples with colleagues working with similar target groups. The format is interactive: one participant introduces a theme or experience, after which all participants contribute their own knowledge, practice, and perspectives. This creates a dynamic exchange of knowledge and practice.

Guest speaker: Ivana Stevanović

Ivana Stevanović is a Pedagogical Advisor – Nursing Teacher. She is a Family Psychotherapist, as well as a Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapist, and is also trained in EMDR therapy. She co-facilitates psychodrama groups in Belgrade and has experience in individual and group psychotherapy. She holds a teaching license, has passed the state exam for healthcare professionals, and serves as an examiner on the National Licensing Commission for teachers in the Republic of Serbia. In her psychodrama work, she integrates the principles of Kleinian theory.

About the topic:

In psychotherapeutic practice, non-verbal communication and persistent silence often pose a complex challenge. In this contribution, Ivana explores the possibilities of psychodrama for clients, where the capacity for verbal expression, abstract thinking, and introspection is severely hindered, without the presence of a severe intellectual disability. Using two contrasting case studies—both rooted in early developmental difficulties—she demonstrates how psychodrama can build a bridge where traditional talk therapy falls short.
