Action Hub, a collaboration with FEPTO Training Committee
The Action Hub will serve as a meeting point for psychodrama practitioners and trainers to share their expertise, experiences, and case examples with colleagues working with similar target groups. The format is interactive: one participant introduces a theme or experience, after which all participants contribute their own knowledge, practice, and perspectives. This creates a dynamic exchange of knowledge and practice.
Session 1 – Topic: Psychoanalysis and Psychodrama
When discussing the intersection of psychoanalysis and psychodrama, one interesting possibility is exploring how reflective insight and active experience might complement each other. Psychodrama could make unconscious processes more visible through enactment, potentially deepening understanding in a psychoanalytic context. Role-playing in psychodrama may resemble transference in psychoanalysis, offering another way to look at relational dynamics. Both approaches tend to engage with emotions and affect in different ways, which might support deeper emotional integration. Finally, considering which clients or situations could benefit from a combined approach helps explore its potential and possible limitations.
